About this work
A curved, dark branch bears clusters of pink plum blossoms across the top of the sheet, with a brown bird's tail and wing visible at the right edge. The lower two-thirds of the page is left empty, with a pale blue tint fading in at the bottom. This print, titled Kachō gafu, Pl.04, was made by Kōtei Fukui in 1898.
