About this work
A pale wisteria branch with clusters of cream-colored blossoms hangs diagonally from the upper edge of the page, with green leaves and a textured stem. Soft gray horizontal washes suggest mist or water in the lower portion of the composition. This print, Kachō gafu, Pl.11, was made by Kōtei Fukui in 1898.
