About this work
A multi-panel colour lithograph of caricatured figures in and around the U.S. Senate, with a central figure wearing a crown labelled Aldrich seated on a throne. Surrounding vignettes show men with bills and rubbish, a president's message scroll, a club scene, and a board meeting with expenditure and treasurer's reports.
