About this work
A bird's-eye chromolithographic view shows the exhibition grounds of the Great Central Fair at Logan Square in Philadelphia, with long wooden halls, a large circular tent, and a tall flagpole flying a star-spangled banner. Crowds walk along the avenues among carriages and yellow streetcars, while the city's domed church and church spires rise in the background. Sanitary Commission, and is attributed to James Fuller Queen.
