About this work
A colored illustration from the 1913 book Unai no tomo by Shimizu Seifū shows a large red daruma doll decorated with white plum blossoms, blue branches, and green leaves. Beside it stand a smaller pink doll marked with the character for good fortune and a red doll with a green pattern, and vertical Japanese calligraphy appears at the upper right.
