About this work
A decorative three-panel print shows a ceremonial procession through a walled town, with men in dark academic robes, a figure in a red cloak, a bearer holding a red banner, and armed guards with halberds. Each scene is framed by ornate Corinthian columns and carries Finnish and Swedish captions, and the signature Albert Edelfelt appears with the date MCMIV.
