About this work
A colored lithographic political cartoon shows caricatured men in top hats dividing a map shaped like a landmass crossed by railroad tracks, slicing it with large knives. Its German caption reads "Uberlaßt ihnen den ganzen Rummel und damit basta!" The print was made by Frederick Burr Opper in 1882 for the magazine Puck.
