About this work
This 1902 print by Samuel Ehrhart shows well-dressed Edwardian men and women strolling past a Gothic church on a city street. The women wear large decorated hats with feathers and flowers, lace collars and fitted jackets, while the men wear top hats and long coats. A printed poem titled The Easter Girls, signed by Madeline Bridges, appears beside the illustration with a decorative border of pink ribbons and lilies.
