About this work
A charcoal or crayon drawing on tan paper flecked with blue shows a spotted cow with curved horns in profile, set against a wavy ridge line at the top. Below the animal, loose hatched strokes suggest a second figure or ground. The work is catalogued as Cave Drawing by Yasuo Kuniyoshi, dated circa 1920s, and the inscribed signature and date appear in the lower right corner.
