About this work
A hand-colored woodblock print shows a rounded doll-like figure wrapped in a vermilion robe decorated with green and white chrysanthemum-like motifs. The face has a white complexion, red lips, and sideways glancing eyes, and a blue ornament sits atop the head, with a Japanese inscription in the upper right.
