About this work
A Japanese woodblock print titled Ushibori, by Kawase Hasui, dated 1930. It shows snow falling over a calm blue waterway at dusk, with thatched-roof houses along the far bank, one window glowing warmly, and a single boatman in a conical hat poling a small boat across the water.
