About this work
A woman in a patterned kimono sits before a make-up mirror, adjusting her hair with a pin while resting her chin on her hand. A hanging scroll with a standing female figure and a bedding roll appear in the room, along with a lacquer box and a blue-patterned bowl. This Japanese woodblock print is attributed to Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III) and dated ca. 1813-1830.
