About this work
A woodblock print showing a thatched-roof teahouse beside bare trees, with patrons seated under the eaves and a traveler carrying an umbrella on the road beyond. A pink sky and distant hills frame the scene, and calligraphy on the signboards identifies the shop. The work is attributed to Utagawa Hiroshige and dated ca. 1833-1834.
