About this work
An engraved print titled The Presidents of the United States, showing a central full-length portrait of George Washington standing beside a desk, surrounded by ten oval portrait medallions of early American presidents set within an elaborate scrolled and foliate border. An eagle and flags appear at the top above the central panel, and the title is printed in capitals along the bottom.
