About this work
A wide panoramic lithograph of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, seen from the City Hall tower, with the red-brick City Hall and its clock tower in the foreground and dense streets, rooftops and factories stretching toward a broad body of water. Printed by Gugler Lithographic Co. in 1898, the sheet presents a bird's-eye view of the city under a billowing sky with a flag flying above the tower.
