A hand-colored celestial chart shows the constellation Libra as a pair of ornate balance scales rendered in gold and red against a deep blue sky. Stars are marked as yellow starbursts with Greek letter labels, and a pale band runs horizontally across the composition. This print by Johann Bayer is dated 1624.
