About this work
A hand-coloured celestial chart shows the constellation Draco as a long green serpent coiling across a deep blue field marked with pale blue grid lines and golden star symbols. The dragon's head with open jaws and a crest sits at the upper centre, and its tail curls at the lower left. This is the 1624 print of Draco by Johann Bayer.
