About this work
A hand-colored satirical print titled Un ingresso trionfale, attributed to Augusto Grossi and dated 1878. A richly dressed man holding a red umbrella labeled Diritto rides a red carriage pulled by two donkeys past a wall where revelers wave bottles, while bottles and bones lie scattered on the road. A chef stands by the doorway of the Locanda del Congresso beside a dog.
