About this work
A colored lithographic print from 1904 by Udo Keppler titled The Song of the Sirens. Two winged siren figures perch on a rocky outcrop, one playing a golden harp labeled Wall Street and Interests and the other holding a scroll reading Trust Influence, while a small boat with a sail labeled Under Circumstances Will I Consent to Beg a Cargo? struggles in rough waves below and a skull lies among rocks in the foreground.
