About this work
A chromolithographic advertisement shows the paddle steamer Drew on a river under a cloudy sky, with two black smokestacks, a large red paddle wheel, and passengers crowded along its decks. Lettering across the lower margin promotes the People's Line on the Hudson River and lists departure times from New York and Albany. The print was issued by Currier & Ives and dated 1877.
