About this work
A colorful political cartoon shows two heavyset figures, one labeled with corporate and dishonest-trust text and the other with union tyranny text, standing over a prostrate woman whose headband reads Law. At right, a bespectacled man in a suit points toward them from behind a podium draped in the American flag, with a printed quotation below. The work is attributed to Udo Keppler and dated 1903.
