About this work
A woodblock print showing a standing man in a black kimono with large multicolored chrysanthemum-like motifs, gazing upward toward a pale full moon in a teal night sky. Drifting pink petals fill the scene, and a vertical cartouche with calligraphy sits beside the figure.
