About this work
This print from Shimizu Seifū's Unai no tomo series, dated 1913, shows three stylized child figures on a pale cream ground. One standing child in a pink kimono holds a gourd, while two seated children hold a drum and a bundle of red maple leaves, with a vertical calligraphic inscription at upper right.
