About this work
This hand-colored Japanese print shows a decorative arrangement of a yellow twisted ceremonial knot with red and white paper fittings on a stem, beside a sprig of pink camellia, red chrysanthemum, and yellow blossoms with green leaves. Brief Japanese inscriptions run along the top and left margins.
