About this work
This page shows two tapering kite designs, one with a blue wreath pattern and the other with abstract blue, pink and gold shapes and a handwritten inscription in the margin. The work is a plate from the Unai no tomo series by Shimizu Seifū, dated 1913, and is held by the PDX collection.
