About this work
A woodblock print by Utagawa Hiroshige, ca. 1841-1842, titled Kameyama. Porters carry yellow bundles on poles along a road shaded by tall, twisted pine trunks, while hills and pines recede into the distance under a pale sky. The title and series label appear in red cartouches at the upper left and right.
