About this work
A Japanese woodblock print by Utagawa Hiroshige, dated 1855, showing large pine trees in the foreground with travelers in blue robes and conical hats, one carrying a palanquin and others walking along a path. Thatched-roof houses sit among the trees, with Mount Fuji rising in the distant left under a pale sky. The print is part of the Fifty-three Stations series and is titled Fujisawa.
