A vertical panel shows clusters of deep blue-purple irises with long green sword-shaped leaves rising from the lower right against a gold background. The gold ground is divided into horizontal panels, suggesting a folding screen. This print, Purple Iris by Shiichi Tajima, is dated 1903.
