About this work
A woman in a black haori over a patterned blue kimono holds a kiseru pipe while standing before blossoming cherry trees near a rippling sea where swans float. The upper right carries a black vertical cartouche with calligraphy and the artist's signature and seal appear at lower right, in a block-printed composition in blue tones.
