About this work
A Japanese woodblock print shows a kabuki actor in a grey patterned kimono and black outer robe, holding the robe at his shoulder with a fierce expression. The sheet is scattered with small red, yellow and blue confetti-like shapes and carries a cartouche with the actor's name in the upper right.
