About this work
A Japanese woodblock print shows several women in patterned kimono gathered in an open teahouse interior, one seated on a bench fanning herself while others stand nearby. A galloping horse is painted on the upper section and a hanging sign with a horse motif appears at right, with additional figures visible in the background.
