About this work
A chromolithographic poster arranges oval-cornered portrait cards of men in overlapping rows around a central eagle with a shield of stars and stripes and a Grand Army of the Republic medal. Handwritten signatures appear beneath many of the portraits, and the lettering at the bottom names the commanders and past commanders of the Grand Army of the Republic. The work is attributed to Winters Art Litho. Co. and dated 1893.
