About this work
This longitudinal section of the Opéra-Comique shows the theatre's auditorium with tiered balconies and boxes in pink and gold tones, flanked by the stage house and a building facade at the left. Ornamental details, staircases and structural framing are rendered in fine line with light watercolour washes.
