About this work
A woodblock print titled Sengakuji cemetery by Azechi Umetarô, dated 1945, shows a grave yard in muted greens and mauve tones. A stone lantern stands at left beside rows of upright gravestones, while tall trunks rise toward a bright patch of sunlit foliage. Two figures in dark clothing walk along a path near a wooden roof edge at right.
