About this work
A cover design in the Japanese print tradition shows a pale white peacock perched on a branch against a dense pattern of green chestnut-like leaves on deep blue. Red Japanese characters run down the left side, and a rectangular seal-like mark sits at the right edge above a row of outlined heart motifs.
