About this work
A colored sketch shows a Japanese shrine complex with a large tiled roof, stone lanterns, and a tall clipped pine beside the main hall. Visitors walk across a gravel courtyard while pigeons gather near a low railing, and a small torii gate appears at the left edge. The work is a 1947 print by Akamatsu Rinsaku, titled Temmangu shrine dedicated to Sugawara Michizane.
