About this work
A multi-panel humorous print in colour depicting winter-themed scenes in a resort setting: well-dressed patrons drinking at a fizz fountain beneath signs for hot and spicy drinks, fur-clad figures seated on steam pipes at a heated surf, and a man in a sickroom receiving a list of remedies. Other panels show walruses on ice rocks, a couple in furs on a shore, and a figure wrapped in a plaid blanket beside a stove. The print is attributed to Samuel Ehrhart and dated 1907.
