About this work
A multi-panel chromolithographic cartoon by Samuel Ehrhart, dated 1903, satirizing labor unions through small scenes. A large central figure in a checked suit and top hat manipulates a crowd of marionette-like figures, while surrounding vignettes show union agitators, a walking delegate, and a prison warden with a prisoner.
