About this work
A multi-panel colour lithograph of comic cartoon vignettes set in domestic and public interiors, showing families and servants absorbed in playing ping-pong. The central oval scene depicts a stout cook in an apron holding a paddle over a table while a man with a newspaper looks on, with verses printed beneath each panel. Samuel Ehrhart produced this print in 1902.
