About this work

A two-page color lithograph shows storks delivering bundled babies in two contrasting settings: an affluent estate with a stately mansion and a stork standing idle at an ornate gate, and a crowded working-class city street where storks swarm rooftops and windows. The work is titled Concerning race suicide and was made by Samuel Ehrhart in 1903.
