About this work
A cutaway illustration shows a wealthy household enclosed in a transparent dome labeled Bluff Court, with rooms such as the kitchen, bedroom, bath room, den, nursery, and dining room arranged around a central ornate entrance attended by two liveried footmen. Figures are visible in each room, and a well-dressed gentleman in a top hat and a woman in a feathered hat stand outside the dome at the right. The work is credited to Samuel Ehrhart and dated 1903.
