About this work
A poster for the Tokyo Peace Exhibition held at Ueno Park from March 10 to July 31, 1922, designed by Tada Hokuu. A standing woman in a green and red classical-style gown with a laurel crown draws back two green curtains to reveal a distant city skyline below. Japanese and English titles and dates appear at the top and bottom.
