About this work

This ex libris bookplate for Irving Kent Hall shows four men in long robes and caps gathered around a desk in an arched interior. A cityscape with towers and a palazzo-style building appears through the opening, and an open book, a candlestick and a small chest rest on the table. The inscription Frederick Garrison Hall, A.D. 1903 appears at upper right and the name Irving Kent Hall with the words Ex Libris sits in the lower panel.
