About this work
A stylized woman in a white kimono with blue floral motifs reclines beside a pink robe patterned with red and silver blossoms, while dark folding fans with white ribs fill the lower right. The composition uses flat color planes and a pale cream ground. This print, titled Fans (Senmen), was made by Kamisaka Sekka in 1909-1910.
