A Japanese woodblock print titled Night Visit to the Armorer by Utagawa Hiroshige shows a group of armed men in dark robes marching along a street, carrying a green covered palanquin on poles. Dogs and townspeople near a small shop with a lantern and wooden buildings frame the scene, under a pale sky with blue clouds.
