About this work
A fine line etching shows a young woman with a headscarf draped over her head, turning her face to one side with a downcast gaze, her shoulders and arm bare and resting on her lap. The image is rendered in delicate, economical contour lines on a cream sheet, with a pencilled edition number in the lower margin and a signature beneath.
