About this work
A mixed-media drawing shows two boxers in a ring, one in a white vest and blue trunks landing a punch while the other, in a dark vest, recoils with a grimacing face. Loose dark hatching in the background creates a dramatic, energetic atmosphere. The work is signed and dated 1943 by André Caza.
