A woodblock print shows a kneeling woman in a red robe with long black hair, gazing toward a winged tengu-like figure with a red face and yellow eyes who stands beside a paper inscription. A dark moon and drifting maple leaves fill the night sky. The work is Manosan yowa no tsuki by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi, dated 1880, held by the Portland Art Museum.
