About this work
A colorful illustrated map of Japan in a whimsical manga style, with landmasses shaped like objects and animals, decorated with hot spring symbols, routes, and humorous figures such as a red oni demon and a kabuki-style actor. Schedules and captions in Japanese fill the margins. The work is dated 1925 and attributed to Inoue Seiji.
