About this work
A hand-colored engraved bird's-eye view of the city of Turin and its surroundings, showing dense rooftops within star-shaped fortifications beside the winding Po river. Mountains rise along the horizon above cultivated fields, and a decorative cartouche at the base holds small plans of the citadel and nearby fortified towns. The title and imprint text appear in French along the lower margin, with a numbered key beneath.
